Hello, I'm Jack

About Me

Hi, I'm Jack Schultz. I am a student at Adelaide University and am an aspiring software developer with a strong passion for learning. Since 2021, I've built a range of personal projects utilising Python, C++ and JavaScript. Almost all of my experience was self-taught before beginning a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in 2026.

I've coded Discord bots, run my own home server, mentored high school students in both robotics and problem-solving using python. I continue to enjoy the challenge of turning ideas into functioning technology, most notable of which is my Discord Bot now servicing over 85 thousand users.

Have a look at some of my projects

Discord Bot (Named Robotnic)

Active in over 250 Discord servers, serving over 85 thousand users. It provides functionality to dynamically create voice channels for users as they are needed. This declutters the chatroom and gives users control over their personal voice channel.

  • Languages: Python, SQL

Teaching Highschoolers to Code

I founded and now run a coding club at my former high school, where I teach programming to students with varying experience levels. What began as a volunteer initiative became a paid position due to its success and continued demand. I design lesson plans, create original teaching materials, and guide students through programming fundamentals while coordinating sessions with school staff. The club focuses on developing problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in programming.

  • Languages Taught: Python
  • Skills: Teaching, lesson planning, technical communication
  • Responsibilities: Session planning, material creation, student mentoring
  • Environment: In-person instruction, school-supported program
